Overview

swoop is a Discord bot and companion website for Mario Kart World Lounge communities. This policy explains what information is processed to run the bot, operate the website, and provide support when needed.

Data we process

The bot may process Discord user IDs, guild IDs, channel IDs, command inputs, and configuration data required to respond to commands and manage server features.

The current bot also stores operational data such as user mode preferences and guild scheduling settings for daily highlights. Lounge player data is fetched from the Lounge API and displayed in bot responses or website views.

How data is used

Data is used to resolve players, render statistics, schedule highlights, support leaderboard features, diagnose failures, and keep the service reliable.

Retention

Stored bot configuration and preference data is kept for as long as it is needed to operate the service, unless deletion is requested or the feature is removed. Logs and operational telemetry may be retained for debugging, abuse prevention, and service health monitoring.

Third parties

swoop depends on Discord, Railway-hosted infrastructure, and the Mario Kart World Lounge API. Those providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your choices

Server administrators can remove the bot from a server at any time. If you want to request data deletion, report a privacy concern, or update the public contact details on this page, use: [email protected].
